RUMFORD –The Pennacook Art Center will be opening a new art show at 60 Lowell St., showing painting, drawings and photographs by local artists. A reception will be held in the Technical Center lobby on from 5 to 7 p.m., Thursday, June 11,where visitors will be able to meet the artists and view the art. This show will also feature   local author Phoebe Pike signing copies of her latest book “The Cold World.” Refreshments will be served. The exhibit is available for viewing during the  center’s regular office hours 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
