AUBURN — The president and CEO of a local manufacturer is stepping down, according to reports.

MaineBiz reports KICTeam’s board of directors sent an email May 26 saying Peter Klein is leaving KICTeam after 12 years to pursue other interests. He will maintain a financial interest in the company.

The board has named Ian McCormick, a strategic consultant, as interim CEO, according to MaineBiz.

KICTeam develops, manufactures and distributes innovative disposable cleaning and maintenance products for various technology equipment.

The facility at 1130 Minot Ave. includes production, warehousing, order fulfillment and sales and executive offices. KICTeam has regional servicing and distribution locations in the United Kingdom, Canada, Oceania, Europe, Brazil and Singapore.
