The Maranacook String Bang will perform from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday, July 18, at the Phillips Area Community Center at 21 Depot. St. The String Band, which was founded at Maranacook Community High School in 2009, features two young vocalists — 21-year-old Julie Churchill of Livermore, and 13-year-old Dana Reynolds of Wayne. The cost of attendance for adults is $10 and $5 for students. Children younger than 5 are free. Refreshments will be available for sale at intermission.
