LISBON — Vietnam Veteran Larry Buckman of Farmington will be presented his medals earned during the Vietnam War at the American Legion Post 158 by the American Legion District Commander of Androscoggin, Jerry DeWitt. The event, hosted by Farmington Legion Post Commander, David Targett, will take place Tuesday, Aug. 4, at 7:30 p.m.

Buckman’s medals were obtained through assistance from Senator Susan Collins’ office. Among the medals to be presented are the National Defense Service Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal with 3 Bronze Service Stars, the Republic of Vietnam Campaign Ribbon with Device and the Sharpshooter Badge with Auto Rifle Bar and Rifle Bar.

All veterans and the public are invited to attend.
