The Jay Historical Society will host its annual open house on Jay Hill from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 8. This year’s theme is “Honoring the History of Jay High School.” Jay High School memorabilia will be on display. Open microphone starts at 10 a.m. for alumni and teachers to share their JHS stories. The Archive Building, highlighting the history of JHS, will be open throughout the day. Artifacts relating to Jay’s 220-year history will also be on display. Other events will include music by Larry Wright and Friends, a raffle and special drawings throughout the day.
