BATH — Gayla Thomas, 42, of Washington Street, died suddenly on Sunday, Aug. 16, at her residence.
She was born in Brunswick on Feb. 20, 1973, the daughter of William A. and Carole D. (Damon) Thomas. She attended Topsham schools and in 1991, graduated from Mt. Ararat High School in Topsham. She attended Boyd School of Travel in Pennsylvania. Gayla was employed at various convenient stores in the area.
She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Topsham Post 202 and the VFW Auxiliary in Auburn, Post 1603.
Gayla was a diehard Patriots Fan and loved her cats, Ted, Joline and especially Clark.
Gayla is survived by her parents, Bill and Carole Thomas of Lisbon Falls; her brother, Marc Thomas and his wife, Rae, of Lisbon Falls; her life partner, Ellen Berry of Bath; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
