FARMINGTON — Franklin County’s Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Services is inviting the public to help run or walk sexual violence out of the community with its second annual Teal Ribbon Run 5K Saturday, Sept. 12.
Registration will begin at 9 a.m. at the Holman House, 227 Main St. The 5K will start at 10 a.m.
Those who register before Monday, Sept. 7, will receive a free T-shirt, and the registration fee is $15. After Sept. 7, the registration fee is $20. Children 12 and younger can participate for free.
To register and pay online, visit www.5k.sapars.org, or mail checks to Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Services, PO Box 6, Auburn, ME 04212. Checks should be made payable to SAPARS with “Teal Ribbon Run” written in the subject line.
