FARMINGTON — New Ventures Maine is offering a free, five-week class, “My Money Works: Tools for Smart Money Choices.” The class will meet each week from 5:30 to 8 p.m. on Wednesdays beginning Sept. 16 and continuing on Sept. 23 and 30, Oct. 7 and 14, at the Farmington Center, 108 Perham St., Suite 2, Farmington, 

The 15-hour class will help attendees gain the skills and confidence needed to stretch income, pay bills, reduce debt, find money for savings and set personal financial goals. A follow-up session is scheduled to provide additional networking and support.
