Kettle workers sought

LEWISTON — The Salvation Army is seeking Kettle workers.

The Kettle program runs from Friday, Nov. 6, to Thursday, Dec. 24. Applications are available at 67 Park St.

National Active and Retired Federal Employees meeting

LEWISTON — Lewiston Chapter 1804 of the National Active and Retired Federal Employees will meet at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 27, at the Ramada Inn.

There will be a business meeting, and a social time will be followed by lunch at noon.

The speaker will be from Anthem Blue Cross.

United New Auburn Association meeting

AUBURN — There will be a United New Auburn Association meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 27, at Rolly’s Dinner on Mill Street.

Mayor Jonathan Labonté will be the featured speaker. The topic of the meeting will be Community Conversation.

Tri-Town Penguins to meet

DURHAM — The Tri-Town Penguins Snowmobile Club of Durham, Freeport and Pownal meets on the last Tuesday of each month until April. Meetings are held at 7 p.m. at the Durham Fire Station, 615 Hallowell Road.

The next meeting will be Tuesday, Oct. 27.
