AUBURN — Francis L. “Frank” Herrick, 82, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 28 at Clover Manor with his family at his side.

He was born Dec. 1, 1933 in Oxford, the son of Leonard and Sadie (Lowe) Herrick. Francis attended Oxford schools, graduating in 1952, where he enjoyed playing baseball, basketball and especially enjoyed his studies. He married his high school sweetheart, Reta J. In 1982 he joined the Stuart Community Baptist Church where he was an usher and a deacon; a member of the Gideon’s International and he joined a dear friend in the prison ministry. Later, when he returned to Maine, he attended Auburn Baptist Church in Auburn.
