FARMINGTON — Copies of The Old South First Congregational Church special edition cookbook are available for purchase locally, including at the church office, 227 Main St. The cost is $15.

The cookbook was assembled as part of the church’s bicentennial celebration, 1814 to 2014. The three-ring binder contains recipes from several generations. There are eight color-coordinated category dividers with helpful hints. Recipes are double indexed by categories and by submitter.

Following a thank-you to those who helped make the cookbook possible is a brief history of the church with information from local historians Megan Roberts and Paul Mills.
