WILTON — A Farmington man was injured Friday morning after his pickup truck slid off Route 133 and ended up in a ditch, officer Gary Allen said.
Stephen Etzel, 63, was heading south toward Jay when his truck hit a patch of black ice at about 7:23 a.m. He was taken by a NorthStar EMS ambulance to Franklin Memorial Hospital in Farmington with minor injuries, Allen said.
The 2007 Ford Ranger truck received damage to the rear and front.
Wilton firefighters provided traffic control.
