Donald Trump’s book, “Trump: The Art of the Deal,” is a very interesting and revealing book. I am sure that every world leader and negotiator has read it, making the contents irrelevant for any future use.
The idea of a book on strategy reminds me of the movie, “Patton,” when Gen. George Patton observed German Gen. Rommel’s African defeat saying, “Rommel, you magnificent bastard, I read your book.”
I sincerely hope that the revelation of Trump’s bargaining strategy will not result in Vladimir Putin some day overlooking the destruction of America and saying “Trump, you magnificent bastard, I read your book.”
We can only hope that Trump has a newer and better strategy than the one he gave away.
