JAY — A Mass of Christian Burial for Bernard “Mike” Nickless was celebrated at 11 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 27, at St. Rose of Lima Church, Jay. The Rev. Joseph Daniels officiated at the service. Music was by Therese Therrien and the Resurrection Choir.
The first reading was read by Tommye Sims. The second reading was read by Rileigh Stebbins. The Intercession prayer was read by Sydney Stebbins and the gifts were presented by the grandchildren. The eulogy was read by his daughters and grandchildren. Eucharistic ministers were grandchildren Brittney and Brian Castonguay. Pallbearers were Donald Castonguay, Lynn Sims, Mark Stebbins, Scott Simpson, Tim Perkins and Cameron Smith.
Interment will be held in the spring at Holy Cross Cemetery, Livermore Falls. Arrangements were by Finley Funeral Home, Livermore Falls.
