Holy Cross Knights of Columbus Council 12652 and Catholic Financial Life Chapter N413 will co-host a take-out only bean supper from 2 to 5:30 p.m. Saturday, April 2, at Holy Cross church hall, 1080 Lisbon St. The menu includes “famous” baked beans with coleslaw, buns, ham, bologna and desserts. Package specials may be purchased in pints for $8 or in quarts for $10. There is an a la carte option with prices as low as $6 for a pint of beans. Those interested may call in their orders to 207-212-5163 after noon on April 2, and it will be ready for pick-up after 2 p.m. They may also just walk in and purchase the meal.
