LISBON — The 31st annual fishing derby will be held Saturday, May 14, on Middle Pond in Beaver Park.

Registration begins at 8 a.m.; fishing at 9 a.m.

Admission is free and children between the ages of 1 and 15 may participate. Adults that will be helping younger children must have a valid Maine fishing license.

Wildlife Biologist Ben Nugent will be host and master of ceremonies. He is a local resident with knowledge about local animals and wildlife.

Free coffee and drinks will be served. All participants will receive a medal and goody bag. Names will be drawn for sponsor-donated prizes.
