LIVERMORE FALLS — Treat Memorial Library has announced its June programming.

There will be a kick-off event for the “Ready, Set, Read!” summer reading program from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 11, with carnival-style games, food, photo opportunities and prizes.

Thursday night programming will return at 6 p.m. June 16 with library mini-golf.

Special guest Theresa Timberlake will return Thursday, June 23.

Other programming includes:

Family Yoga Night: 6 p.m. Thursday, June 30. Certified instructor Sarah Nutting will lead the group.

Preschool Story Time: Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m. Stories, songs, crafts and activities will follow the “Ready, Set, Read!” theme.

Teen Writers: 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 7 and 21. Teens can explore the kind of writing that interests them as well as experiment with different styles. Area teens ages 12 and older are welcome to attend.

Book Club: 3 p.m. Thursday, June 9. The series is Art of the Memoir, and the group will discuss “Below Stairs” by Margaret Powell, the memoir that inspired the creator of the popular PBS TV show “Downton Abbey.” Those who would like a copy of the book to join the discussion should contact the library.

LEGO Club: 4 p.m. Friday, June 24. Those who want to work with the traditional smaller blocks or larger LEGO Duplos are welcome to come and build. Attendees can be inspired by the challenge of the night, or go in another direction. Masterpieces will be displayed in the library for the month.

The library will host its second annual Food for Fines month throughout June. For the entire month, those with late fines who are not using the library can bring in canned food or boxes of dry food to have the fine forgiven. Food will be taken to the local food cupboard. Food will be accepted for late fines only, not lost or damaged items.
