STRATTON — Old Home Days is the theme of the annual Family Fun Days in the Stratton area. It runs from Friday to Sunday, June 24 to 26. This family-oriented event includes food, music, entertainment and fireworks.

The weekend kicks off Friday with a chicken and ribs barbecue dinner prepared by the Wayfarers at 5 p.m. at the Stratton-Eustis Community Building on Main Street.

The Stratton Eustis PTC will hold a Stratton School yard sale at 9 a.m. Saturday at the Eustis Fire Station. The grand parade starts at 11 a.m. on Main Street. From noon to 4 p.m, Pepin’s Field will have Kathy’s Karaoke, food and free activities for children and families.

Among the new events is award-winning local Maine wildlife artist Ashley Gray, who will give a live carving presentation. The Rangeley Logging Museum will show an exhibit on the history of logging.

Old favorites returning include the treasure pile, kids’ games, bounce houses and the meadow muffin contest.

The day ends with a fireworks show at 9 p.m viewed from Pepin’s Field.

Sunday, the Arnold Trail Snowmobile Club will hold its fundraiser Walk-A-Thon at 9 a.m. at Cathedral Pines Campground in Eustis. There is also a golf tournament at 10 a.m. at Moose Meadows in Coplin Plantation.

To finish off the weekend, there will be a horseshoe tournament and barbecue at 1 p.m. at Stratton Plaza on Main Street along with awards.
