AUBURN — On Friday, June 17, Strong Arm Concerts presents Single Bullet Theory and Threatpoint at Sapphire Night Club and Event Center at 150 Center St., Auburn. Single Bullet Theory was formed in 2000 and their unrelenting drive helped land opening slots on U.S. tours with national bands Hypocrisy, Soilwork, Killswitch Engage and more. Lead vocalist and guitarist Matt DiFabio is also a former member of the national band Pissing Razors featured on MTV and more.
This will be Single Bullet Theory’s first time visiting Maine. Threatpoint out of Scranton, Pa., will be making their three-peat return to Maine has shared the stage with several national bands and has toured the U.S. relentlessly in support of their music.
Also appearing is Maine’s own Ascent to Power. Ascent to Power has shared the stage with national acts such as Mushroomhead, Hed Pe, Kittie, Unearth, Suicide Silence and more. They have recently released their sophomore album on FMD Records “The Situation is Under Control” and have also been invited to play this year’s Gathering of the Juggalos in Thornville, Ohio in July.
Other bands appearing will be Angel Slayer, The Fall of Babylon, and Alter The Tides.
Doors open at 7:15 p.m. and the show starts at 7:30 sharp. This is a 21-plus event.
