PORTLAND – Rascal Flatts, the CMA Vocal Group of the Year in 2003, will be in Maine as part of a 28-city tour. They will be in Portland for a 7:30 p.m. concert Oct. 28 in the Cumberland County Civic Center.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 25.

Julie Roberts and Gary Allan will be joining as support.

Rascal Flatts’ honors include a 2004 CMA nomination for Vocal Group of the Year and the 2003 ASCAP’s Vocal Group of the Year. The group’s new album, “Feels Like Today,” will be in record stores on Tuesday, Sept. 28, according to a spokesman.
