1944 – 2016
LEWISTON — Thomas Michael Mangan, 72, of Lisbon passed away Monday, June 27, at Central Maine Medical Center.
He was born Jan. 13, 1944, in Lewiston, to parents Cecile Tardiff and Thomas A. Mangan.
He was a third-degree member of Knights of Columbus. Tom loved to travel. He visited many parts of Canada and the United States, but his heart lived in Aruba. Tom was a Maine state senator, an attorney for more than 30 years, and once he retired, the lifelong workaholic maintained an 80-hour workweek as a merchandiser and paralegal.
Tom is survived by his better half, Mary; four daughters; two sons; his grandchildren; his sister, Anita, and his brother, David.
He was predeceased by his sister, Elaine, and his mother and father.
