1935 – 2016

LEWISTON — Hazel J. Hayman, 80, of Sabattus, passed away Saturday, July 2, at Russell Park Rehabilitation and Living Center with her son, David, by her side.

She was born in Wilton on Aug. 8, 1935, the daughter of the late Earl and Leona (Spencer) McCrillis. Hazel loved bowling and was a great cook. She also enjoyed Old Orchard Beach and Funtown.

She is survived by two sons, Alfred McCrillis of Norridgewock and David Hayman of Sabbatus; three daughters, Lynn Hayman of Lewiston, Ruth Vachon of Winthrop and Kelly Grover of Hebron; one brother, Sanford McCrillis of Wilton; one sister, Arlene Jones of Livermore Falls; 11 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Bernard J. Hayman in 1969.
