SURPRISE, Ariz. — Walter Richard Andrews died Thursday, June 16.
He was born on Sept. 25, 1942, to Willard Andrews and Edith Andrews Dolan Labbie of Lewiston. He joined the U.S. Air Force after high school and was stationed at Dyess Air Force Base in Abilene, Texas. He started and ran a very successful electronics business, A&R Electronics, which he ran until a stroke retired him in 1999. He also loved fishing and camping.
He is survived by his wife, Rhonda, of Surprise, Ariz.; daughter, Kelly Walker of Flagstaff, Ariz.; son, Scott of Surprise, Ariz.; and a sister, Barbara Andrews Varney of Norway.
He is predeceased by his father; mother; and sister, Nancy Cote.
