1935 – 2016

RUMFORD — Roger J. LeBlanc, 81, of Mexico died Wednesday, Aug. 3, at the Rumford Community Home, Rumford.

He was born June 29, 1935, in Rumford, the son of Adelin and Rose (Allen) LeBlanc, and graduated from Mexico High School, Class of 1955. For many years he served in the Maine Army National Guard.

He had been employed at the Mexico Water Department for many years. He was a communicant of Parish of the Holy Savior, St. Athanasius – St. John Church in Rumford.

Survivors include a twin brother, Robert LeBlanc of Derby, Conn.; sister, Mary Anne Bellegarde and husband, Roland, of Rumford; nieces, Linda Law and husband, David, of Dixfield, Brenda Smith and husband, Dan, of Scarborough, Wanda Child and husband, Tom, of Peru, Nancy Norberg and companion, Dan Quimby, of South Portland, Karen White and husband, Roger, of Rumford; nephew, Robert LeBlanc Jr. and wife, Joyce, of Roxbury Pond; a godchild, Kim Scott of Lewiston and her brother, Clyde Wardwell, of Mexico.
