1958 – 2016

MINOT Michael Albert Hodgdon, kind spirit and gentle soul, was called home on Tuesday, Sept. 2.

Mike was born in Lewiston on April 11, 1958. He attended Minot Consolidated School and graduated from Edward Little High School in 1977.

Mike loved all things automotive and enjoyed building model cars. He was always tickled to loan out CDs from his impressive collection of rock, country and oldies music. He enjoyed his job at Gammon Landscape Nursery and his friends at the Looking Ahead Clubhouse, especially his mentor, Steve Hish.

Mike’s sudden passing leaves a chasm in the heart of his sister, Cindy Hemond and husband, Richard, with whom he made his home in Minot; his mother, Patricia (Yokell) Hodgdon of Poland; sisters, Johanna Barnett and husband, Steven, of Gardiner and Kathy Williamson and companion, Steven Dillon, of Auburn; a brother, Scott Hodgdon and companion, Pamela Luce, of Poland; a niece and five nephews; many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was predeceased by his father, C. Thayne Hodgdon in 2012; and a sister, Debra Hodgdon in 1994.

Like a shepherd He will tend His flock, In His arm He will gather the lambs and carry them in His bosom; from Isaiah 40:11.

Condolences can be expressed to the family at www.chandlerfunerals.com.
