LEWISTON — Maine Event Comedy’s Third Thursday Comedy Showcase returns to Lewiston’s Bear Bones Beer on Nov. 17.

Mark Turcotte will be the host.

The show will feature a pair of New England’s funniest comedians, Brian Plumb and Tuck Tucker. They’ll be joined by Jake Jacobson, Mike Gray, Noreen Lacoy and Adam Johnson.

Plumb’s confrontational style has made him a favorite throughout New England and beyond. The Massachusetts native performed in this year’s Dallas Comedy Festival and is a regular at Comix at Mohegan Sun.

Tucker, a founding member of Portland’s Running with Scissors improv group, was a finalist on HBO’s “Lucky 21 Comedy Showcase” in New York City. He’s performed at the Funnybone in Hartford, Connecticut, and the Comedy Connections in Boston and Providence, Rhode Island.

The show is for those 21 and older. Admission is free.
