MONMOUTH — Theater at Monmouth seeks energetic and dynamic non-Actors’ Equity Association performers for the 2017 Summer Repertory Season.
Contracts run from June 13 through Aug. 20. Included is housing (for non-Maine residents), meals and a weekly stipend. Resumes must demonstrate experience in Shakespeare and theater for families.
The 2017 Summer Season includes: Moliere’s “Learned Ladies,” directed by Sally Wood; Shakespeare’s “Macbeth,” directed by Dawn McAndrews; “Othello,” directed by Catherine Weidner; Lolita Chakrabarti’s “Red Velvet,” directed by Jennifer Nelson; Richard Greenberg’s “Three Days of Rain,” directed by Carmen-maria Mandley; and “My Father’s Dragon,” directed by Adam Blais.
The first performance is June 24 and the season closes on Aug. 20. Each actor in the summer company plays three or four roles; all shows are rehearsed and performed in repertory.
The summer season operates on a Letter of Agreements contract to a League of Resident Theatres contract with Actors’ Equity Association. Union rules will be followed for equity and non-equity actors.
Internships are also available.
Those interested should email a headshot and resume (with website if applicable) to [email protected] by Dec. 1 to be considered for New York auditions.
