FARMINGTON – Cynthia Karkos of Farmington was recently trained and certified as a specialist for the MetLife advice for beneficiaries program Delivering The Promise.

Delivering The Promise was developed in 1999 to help beneficiaries across the United States by providing professional services and financial organizational assistance when coping with the death of a loved one. The training includes classes on communicating with the bereaved and understanding grief as well as strategies for assisting the beneficiary with their new financial concerns.
