Thanksgiving bake sale at Pinewood

FARMINGTON — Pinewood Terrace will hold a Thanksgiving bake sale from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 23, at 136 Rosewood Dr.

Proceeds from the sale will benefit the residents’ activity program.

Special market before Thanksgiving

FARMINGTON — The Farmington Winter Farmers’ Market will be open an extra day before Thanksgiving from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 23, at the Farmington Grange Hall, 124 Bridge St.

The market is open Saturdays until the end of April.

Items sought for Kids Shop

FARMINGTON — The Franklin County Relay for Life is seeking unwanted items for its Kid Shop that will be set up on lower Broadway on Chester Greenwood Day, Saturday, Dec. 3.

The donated knick knacks can make it possible for youths to buy and wrap a gift for their parents at a price the youths can afford.

Items can be dropped off at Franklin Savings Bank’s branches in Farmington, Wilton, Jay and Rangeley; Kyes Insurance in Farmington; Randy Keach Auto on Mercer Road in New Sharon; and Ranor Mechnical on Route 4 in Jay.

The 2017 Relay for Life will be held on May 19.
