Auburn Rec to see Celtics game
AUBURN — The City of Auburn Recreation Department will host a trip for families to see the Boston Celtics play the Miami Heat Friday, Dec. 30, in Boston.
Cost to attend is $100, which includes trip transportation from Portland and balcony seating. Game time is 7:30 p.m.
Space is limited for this trip, and registration is required by visiting the Auburn Rec web site or the office at 48 Pettingill Park Road.

Registration open for Colorguard
TURNER — SAD 52 of Turner, Leeds and Greene is taking student applications who are interested in joining the Colorguard.
No experience or equipment is necessary to join this activity, which is being offered to students in third through eighth grades. Colorguard members will learn flag techniques, dance movement and will have the opportunity to perform in public.
The group will meet weekly on Tuesdays, Dec. 6 through April 11, 2017.
There will be an informational meeting and demonstration from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 6, for students interested in joining.
