Blanche G. Thorndike
1927 – 2009

ROCKLAND — Blanche G. (LaMarre) Thorndike, 81, passed away June 20, at the Knox Center.

She was born on Aug. 27, 1927 to Antonio and Germaine (LaVigne) LaMarre. She attended Lewiston area schools and worked in the Lewiston area in local shoe shops in the manufacturing district.

Survivors include her son, Bradford “Brad” Hatch of Portland; a brother, Antonio “Tony” LaMarre of Chicago, Ill.;and a sister, Jeanne Starkey of Lewiston.
