MECHANIC FALLS – Dave Griffiths, a freelance writer and editor, and writing and media instructor who lives in Mechanic Falls, recently ran a two-day media training seminar for managers from around the country who work for Immigration and Customs Enforcement, a division of the Department of Homeland Security. The session, held in Batavia, N.Y., focused on framing messages for a wide variety of media and handling press relations during crises.
