1953 – 2016
SOUTH PARIS — Frank P. Landers, 63, of South Paris, died unexpectedly Friday, Dec. 23, at his home.
He was born at Meridan, Conn. on Oct. 11, 1953, the son of Charles L. and Mary Darling Landers. He was a graduate of Jefferson High School in Meridan, Conn. and had been a police officer there as well. He had also worked as an insurance adjuster for General Accident Insurance Company in Orange, Conn. prior to moving to Maine.
Mr. Landers moved to Oxford in 1989 and owned Frank’s Auto Body and Welding and Frank’s Used Furniture. But he was better known as a used car salesman. Mr. Landers was a communicant of St. Catherine of Sienna Church in Norway and a member of H.O.P.E. (Healing of Persons Exceptional) with Dr. Kenneth Hamilton. He loved animals and riding his tractor. He collected shepherd and eagle figurines and model cars.
He is survived by his wife, Becky; daughters, Jessica Leino and Paula German; grandchildren, Tyra, Gabby, Risto, Erica, Rachel, Felicia and Jordan.
He was predeceased by his first wife, Donna.
