AUBURN – Leo J. Simard, CPCU, AIC, was recently honored by the Maine Chapter, Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters, as the 2007 recipient of the Lee Allen President’s Award for Excellence.

The award recognizes excellence in the Maine property-casualty insurance business and outstanding career contribution to the industry and the Society of CPCU.

Simard, a resident of Biddeford, is vice president-claims of Patrons Oxford Insurance Company in Auburn, and a 34-year veteran in the property-casualty insurance field.

He received the CPCU designation in 1995.
