LEWISTON – The Lewiston CareerCenter, 5 Mollison Way, announces the March workshop schedule and the speakers for the Unemployed Professionals group.

The center hosts an Unemployed Professionals group every Monday from 1 to 4 p.m. The group provides support, resources and networking opportunities for unemployed and underemployed professionals and provides employers with a talent pool from which to recruit.

Upcoming program topics are: March 5, “Behavioral interviewing,” by Kelly Scammon and Krista Thurlow of Bonney Staffing; March 12, “How to build a professional portfolio,” by Gail Dyer of the state Bureau of Employment Services; March 19, “Lifelong learning as a marketing tool,” by Eva Giles of Lewiston Adult Education; and March 26, “High health and low stress during your work search,” by Marion Browning from Healthy Androscoggin.

A club meets at the CareerCenter Mondays from 10 a.m. to noon, focusing on job search strategy and skills, networking, and information-sharing.
