LEWISTON – Two free workshops for anyone interested in starting a business are being offered in Lewiston on Feb. 15 and April 4.
The three-hour workshops will run from 9 a.m. to noon at Lewiston-Auburn College on Westminster Street. The introductory workshops will walk participants through the pros and cons of owning a business, show how to get started, point out the major elements of a business plan, introduce participants to the many resources available in the Androscoggin County area and help potential business owners decide whether self employment is the right choice.
Pre-registration is required. For more information or to register, call the Lewiston-Auburn Center for Women, Work and Community at 753-6505.
