LEWISTON – FISC Solutions Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Client Relations Kristine Avery recently earned her certification as a senior professional in human resources.

The certification, awarded by the Human Resource Certification Institute, signifies that Avery possesses the theoretical knowledge and practical experience in human resource management necessary to pass a rigorous examination demonstrating a mastery of the body of knowledge in the field.

Avery joined FISC Solutions in December 2000. She is responsible for the human resources and client relations functions of the company. Prior to joining FISC, she spent 10 years in the financial services industry, serving five years as a vice president of administration/human resources for Infinity Federal Credit Union. She is a graduate of Southeastern Academy in Kissimmee, Fla., and completed the human resource management certificate program at the University of Southern Maine.

Avery is president-elect for the Human Resource Association of Southern Maine, a member of the Society for Human Resource Management, and was recently voted to serve as a board member for Casco Federal Credit Union.
