PORTLAND – The Maine Real Estate and Development Association will hold its 2007 Real Estate Forecast Conference and third annual Member Showcase from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 25, 2007 at the Holiday Inn By the Bay, 88 Spring St.

The conference is a unique forum specifically geared toward developers, brokers, architects, bankers, attorneys, accountants and other industry professionals. Along with the annual economic overview and outlook on Maine’s economy, the conference also provides the popular market overview by property type focusing on both commercial and residential forecasts. Two new segments to the seminar, focusing on the greater Androscoggin and greater Bangor area markets, have been added.

Gov. John E. Baldacci will participate and share his vision for the state.

Topics to be covered include: An examination of current state statistics and what they reveal about the future of Maine’s economy with an emphasis on real estate, and a market overview by property type focusing on both commercial and residential sectors
