AUBURN – Agren Appliance announces that Jason Agren has joined its management team as director of business development. In this new role, Agren will manage development of the company’s growth strategies and assist in the company’s marketing and community outreach efforts at each of the five Agren Appliance stores.

As finance director for the Pine Tree Council, Boy Scouts of America for the past six years, Agren oversaw the council’s endowment efforts, organized and managed all its major fundraising events, including its annual fundraising campaign and distinguished citizen award dinner, celebrity auctions and golf tournaments, and was responsible for all of the council’s marketing efforts.

He lives in South Portland with his wife, Kelly, who is a teacher in the Scarborough school system, and their 10-month-old daughter, Sarah.
