NORWAY – Western Maine Health President and CEO Timothy A. Churchill announced recently that Bette MacDonald, longtime clerk in the Medical Records Department at Stephens Memorial Hospital, has retired after 27 years of service.

He cited her positive attitude and commitment to excellence in his remarks.

MacDonald began working at the hospital on Sept. 29, 1978, and retired April 27.

Co-workers honored her on her last day with a brunch, gifts, and a surprise visit from her daughter, who resides in Virginia.
