PORTLAND – A seminar on selling to Canadian governments is being offered by the Maine International Trade Center.

It will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 9, at the Target Technology Center, Orono.

Each year, the Canadian federal government purchases about $10 billion worth of products and services, from aircraft to haircuts.

The Maine International Trade Center, in cooperation with the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency, will explain the bidding procedures, regulations, necessary forms, logistics and other information needed to sell and ship to Canadian governments.

The seminar is $30 for Trade Center members and $60 for nonmembers.

Maine state legislators may attend free of charge.
