TOPSHAM – Bruce Berger has been elected to the board of directors for the New England Water Works Association, as director for the state of Maine.
Berger’s three year term as state of Maine director begins in September 2005.
Berger has been a business development representative with Wright-Pierce, New England’s infrastructure specialists, since 1999. As a business development representative for Wright-Pierce, he stays on top of municipal, industrial and governmental developments in both the water and wastewater fields.
Berger represents Wright-Pierce by attending water and wastewater trade shows, conferences and seminars throughout New England.
NEWWA assists and supports its members in responding to the changing and complex requirements of today’s water supply industry, as well as contributing to public education on water supply related issues. NEWWA is associated with the American Water Works Association, and publishes and distributes a newsletter that includes information on recent legislative efforts in the water arena.
