AUBURN – Van Perry of Readfield has been promoted to regional vice president in central Maine by Northeast Bank.

He is responsible for commercial loan development in the Lewiston/Auburn and Augusta areas.

Perry, who has been with Northeast Bank for the past year, has been in the commercial lending field for more than 16 years. Before that, he worked at the Finance Authority of Maine as a senior commercial loan officer/commercial operations manager with particular expertise in the forest products and agricultural industries, at Farm Credit of Maine for eight years and KeyBank for five years.

Perry, a graduate of the University of Maine, lives in Readfield with his wife and two sons.
