NORWAY – Bonnie McAlister, dietary director at Market Square Health Care Center, recently completed the serve safe food protection and sanitation exam to become a certified trainer in Maine.
The course covered rules and regulations on the proper handling and preparation of food as well as care and sanitation guidelines for kitchen equipment.
She will use her certification to train kitchen staff at Market Square.
She was also recently elected president of the Maine Chapter of Dietary Aide Managers.
