AUGUSTA – The Maine Small Business Alliance invites small business owners to hear more about the new Dirigo Health CareWorks program and discuss the program with staff from the Dirigo Health Office.

The CareWorks insurance product will be available to small businesses beginning this summer.

A discussion will be held from 7:15 to 9 a.m. at the Auburn Inn and Conference Center, 1777 Washington St. (turnpike Exit 12). It is co-hosted and sponsored by the Androscoggin County Chamber of Commerce

Maine Small Business Alliance Executive Director Deborah Cook explained that the forums “have been developed to give the owners of small businesses a chance to deepen their understanding, ask questions and offer feedback to the Dirigo Health CareWorks product and to engage directly in this stage of this landmark health reform effort.”
