LEWISTON – Regan M. Hornney and David Swetnam-Burland recently joined the firm of Brann & Isaacson.
Regan M. Hornney is a 1986 graduate of Boston University, a 1996 graduate of the University of Maine School of Law, and a 1996 graduate of the Edmund S. Muskie Institute of Public Affairs College. Her practice includes bankruptcy, commercial law, real estate transactions, corporate law and commercial litigation.
Hornney practiced law in Portland with the firm of Marcus, Clegg & Mistretta, P.A. where she represented corporate and individual debtors in Chapter 11 and Chapter 7 cases, and advised business clients in transactional and general corporate matters.
She is a member of the Bankruptcy Court Local Rules Committee and is a certified land use planner.
David Swetnam-Burland is a 1995 high honors graduate of Wesleyan University, a 1998 graduate of the University of Michigan where he obtained a master’s degree in philosophy, and a 2002 magna cum laude graduate of the University of Michigan Law School where he ranked eighth in his class.
Swetnam-Burland clerked for one year for the Honorable Vaughn R. Walker, federal district judge, in the Northern District of California.
He is admitted to practice in California. His areas of practice include general civil and commercial litigation in both federal and state courts and before administrative agencies.
