LEWISTON – Maine Medical Group Management Association elected 2004 officers at its annual meeting at Sebasco Harbor Resort in September 2003.

Officers are: president, Elizabeth Brunelle; vice president for education, Karen Gurney; president elect, Diane Daigle; immediate past president and public relations chairperson, Carol L. Murrell; secretary, Eric Small; membership chairperson, Patti White and treasurer, Kim Anderson.

Maine MGMA is working with counterparts in New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Rhode Island on a joint annual conference to be held at the Cape Codder Resort and Spa in Hyannis, Mass., May 12 to 14. There will be several national speakers at the conference who will address aspects of managing a medical practice. There are two third-party payor conferences scheduled for February. Insurance company representatives will speak. On Tuesday, Feb. 10, the seminar will be at Keeley’s Banquet Center in Portland. On Wednesday, Feb. 11, the seminar will be at Jeff’s Catering in Brewer. Both will go from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and lunch will be provided.
