WEBSTER CITY, Iowa – The Vac Shak of Lewiston has earned Beam Industries’ prestigious Top 20 Dealer Award for outstanding central vacuum system sales and customer service during 2003.

The award was presented to The Vac Shak owner Mark and Ann Marie Jumper on Dec. 7 during Beam’s U.S. Dealer Conference in Universal City, Calif.

“The Vac Shak played a major part in Beam’s continued growth in 2003,” said John Coghlan, president of Beam Industries. “Our Top 20 dealers represent the very best in sales, service and customer satisfaction.”

In addition to recognizing top dealers, dealers also had a chance to meet with a top official of DR Horton Inc., the nation’s largest homebuilder, to learn how dealers can make major inroads in new construction.

“At the conference we gained valuable insight on what builders are looking for in home options and upgrades and the kinds of support they need from us,” said Jumper.

“We will be able to take that information and use it to grow our relationships with builders in the Lewiston area.”
