SOUTH PORTLAND – The Maine International Trade Center is offering a new seminar focused on doing business with China, currently the fastest growing market for Maine businesses.

The seminar, titled China: Sourcing & Sales, will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 13, at UNUM Provident Learning Center in South Portland.

This two-part program looks at opportunities and barriers to trade and features “real world” best practices and lessons learned for both sourcing and selling. The morning session focuses on importing from China. The afternoon session covers key topics for exporters. Participants may register for the full-day program or for either of the half-day sessions.

The seminar is part of the International Trade Education Series sponsored by Citizens Bank Foundation. Space is limited and advance registration is encouraged. Costs to attend are $65 for MITC members and $95 for non-members for the full day or $30 for MITC members and $60 for nonmembers for a half day.
