SOUTH PORTLAND – Sarah Broughton of Rumford has been named a loan officer at Downeast Mortgage Corp., Maine’s largest independent mortgage company. She will be serving clients throughout western Maine.

A veteran in the banking industry – including 11 1/2 years at Key Bank and 2 1/2 at the Oxford Federal Credit Union – Broughton has been active in the River Valley Chamber of Commerce, as a member of the board of directors, chair and co-chair on sub-committees and in numerous fund-raising events.
